SD3 Driver

Hello , I have a Legacy Centroid SD3 Driver with Centroid AC Motor`s HJ130C8-64S, Is there any posibility to run this old system on a new controller like Acorn? If so, what do i need? , If not, what suitable Servodrivers can i use on the Servo motors? It is on a Bridgeport retrofit.

You should be able to replace that with an AllIn1DC, if the motors and encoders are working. The PC will no longer meet the minimum specs, so that will need to be replaced. As will the operator's control panel (you might check with Centro I'd - it may be possible to replace the firmware chip on the panel). And I bet the monitor and computer power supply will need to be replaced as well.

AC/DC drives can run those motors. They are brushless (aka AC) motors, so ALLIN1DC will not run them.

You should not use SD3 or SD1 on a new build. Centroid tries to support products as long as possible. However, there are components on SD1 and SD3 that have been obsolete for over a decade. The time is coming when repair and replacement of these products will not longer be possible.

Yes that was my thinking too, the motors seems very good shape, can you point me in a direction to get suitable drives for theese motors? I have 200-240volt three phase supply in my shop, but can use step up transformator to 400volt.
