Encoder connector

Post by NeilS »

Hi,

I found that one of my encoders is dead during the bench test. I have a replacement but can anyone help with details of the connector used inside the motor cap? These are the SEM motors supplied by Centroid in the 90's. I need either the connector and pins or just some pins as I can reuse the housing.

Those are Molex "SL Modular" connectors, also called "C-Grid".

Look for Molex part numbers 701070008 and 16020115.

Many thanks,

I have ordered some from Mouser in the US as the UK supplier had minimum order of 6000 pins and no stock of the shell!
