Where could I find the Parameter setup and maybe PLC sample code?
I bought the flying lead cables for the Oak and would like the two seperate hand wheels to jog the axis1+2 channels. I'll set them up on the axis3+4 ports.
axis1 - Zaxis Yaskawa
axis2 - Xaxis Yaskawa
axis3 - Z hand wheel
axis4 - X handwheel or future axis
axis5 - X "alternate" handwheel location (leaves axis4 open for future fun!)
axis6 -spindle encoder
Thanks for any info!

Re: Lathe- dual MPG on axis channels
Most "standard" Oak lathe PLC programs will have support for dual handwheels already in MpgStage. You just need to set Parameters 348 - 353.
If I recall correctly, most typical logic assumes that MPG #1 (the one described by parameters 348-350) is for the X axis (axis #2); and MPG #2 (the one described by parameters 351-353) is for the Z axis (axis #1).

Re: Lathe- dual MPG on axis channels
Thanks Marc, Additionally I think the parameters 308-315 to select which encoder used for 348-350. Like quicksand it sinks in just slowly. Once I have it; I have for good most of the time.

Re: Lathe- dual MPG on axis channels
No. Parameters 348 and 351 refer to encoder input numbers, not axis numbers. Therefore the encoder inputs used for MPG handwheels do not need to be mapped to axes using the 308-315 parameters (in contrast to the spindle encoder, which does need to be mapped to an axis number).
