umbrella atc

Post by srecord »

Im in the middle of trying to complete a retrofit on a 1991 haas vf1 with a umbrella style tool changer. I have the allinone and the plcad1616 I didnt recive any examples of wiring the ATC with the kit, was I suppose to? also I have a mitubishi a500 with the fra5ap card in it. I just need a little direction on getting this tool changer started, can i use the spindle plung pin for ATC spindle alignment or do I need to install a encoder on the spindle? thanks in advance for the help

A full size schematic showing ATC hookups should have been included with your kit. Do you have your kit number (or otherwise please send me a private message with the name / company it was purchased under)? With that I can get you the right schematic.
