Problem in Automatically Loading Default Screenset for MACH3

Post by Mirza »

Hi Scott,

We are using an Ajax-Mach3 setup to run our 4-Axis CNC router. We are using Ajax.set as our default Screenset in Mach3.

We recently added some buttons on our Mach3 screen using Mach3Screen software and saved it as Ajax.set

The problem we are facing is that it doesn't load automatically now and each time we have to load Ajax.set from pulldown menu View>Load Screenset

I reckon it is because it is not saved in "Mach3" folder but in "Ajax" which is a Subfolder of "Mach3" folder.

But earlier it was being loaded from same location automatically.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mirza.

Hi Mirza,

I've never tried to use a screenset that wasn't in the Mach dir. but I expect that you are correct, it must be located in the Mach dir. I do know that Mach appears to create temp files related to the current screenset when loading (which are also stored in the Mach dir) and I suspect your issues may be related to something Mach is using the temp files for.
