Continuing probe issue

Post by jcsb »

So I've been attempting to get a NO probe to work on my all-in-one-dc mill. It has a tool setter that works, but the probe no go. So presently I have the probe set up to have 12v feed on pin 2, gnd on pin 3, and output on pin 5. So when ever I try to use Swiss's probing problem it say's it can't find the probe. If I go into the setup menu to set a part location it won't move when I request. Then if I jog it to the part surface once it makes contact it stops and won't move without either shutting down the program or I can hit e-stop, restart and move off of the material with only using the jog keyboard and not the remote jog. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached below is the report file.

Either add a wire to your probe plug so that it closes the probe-detect input (INP771, pin 6 of the 8-pin connector) to 0VDC (e.g. pin 8 of the 8-pin connector) when the probe is plugged in; or change Parameter 18 to a value of zero, to indicate that no probe detection is available.
