I installed a new aok motherboard to my cnc machine with umbrella tool change. I have cntroid 4.2 I have an error when the tool change cycle is releasing the tool. Can someone help me figure out what is happening?

"9055 TOOL CLAMP UNCLAMP FAULT" will happen if the PLC tries to unclamp the tool (turns on OUT22), but the tool-unclamped input switch (INP22) fails to close within 1.5 seconds, or fails to remain closed.

Do you have a tool-unclamped switch?

Do you have it wired to INP22?

Do you see INP22 turn green, on the Alt-i display, when you unclamp a tool? Does it remain green as long as the drawbar is open?

When I activate the output with alt-f, the unclamp works perfectly, the same when I press the release tool button.
I understand that the problem is in the time that the solenoid valve remains open.

When you do that, does INP22 turn green, and stay green?

How long does it take, from the time OUT22 turns on the solenoid, until INP22 turns green?

when you ran the m15 command the unclamp tool works perfectly, input 22 changes to green.

the problem happens when you executed an m6 tool change

I don't see that the logic that leads to "9055 TOOL CLAMP UNCLAMP FAULT" is any different when M15 occurs in an M6 tool change, vs. by itself at the MDI prompt.

Perhaps it is an air supply issue. During an M6 tool change, when the drawbar tries to unclamp, the carousel has been advanced. If your carousel-advance solenoid or cylinder leaks enough air, then perhaps there is insufficient pressure to fully open the drawbar.

Can you help me to extend the time that the sensor takes before receiving the signal from the unclamp tool, when I run m6? I don't understand why I have this problem if I press the release tool button, it works fine the same if I run an m15. who can help me?
