Hello, all.
I've tried searching the forum and looking at my wiring diagrams for the answer and it's not obvious: Can I expand the I/O capabilities of a legacy CNC7 system with an RTK2 PLC using a PLCADD1616 or some such? I've got a 4th axis on my knee mill and I'm out of inputs. I'd like to add limit switches for a motor on the knee and some other fun buttons/toys like a 3-color stack light (obv outputs). I suppose I could use the AUX0-3 for that, but I'm still out of inputs.
Thanks!

There is nothing as simple or affordable as the PLCADD1616 for CPU7/CPU10 systems.
The only hardware PLC expansion is OPTIC232, an interface to provide serial communication with Automation Direct (Koyo) DL205 and DL05 PLC hardware. Through OPTIC232, the Centroid PLC program exchanges blocks of input and output bits with the Koyo CPU, which can then work with as many physical I/O points as you care to install.
