Need help with Centroid 4th Axis post using Fushion 360

Post by dbensavage »

I am running a multi work offset post on a 4th axis. When posting I get a work coordinate call out (Like G57) which is on a different angle but no M10, A#, M11 afterword. So the 4th axis does not rotate to the new coordinate. This happens when there is not a tool change at the same time as the work coordinate change. I have used the "another brand" post to see if it posts correctly and it does so it must be something in the centroid post.

Keith, I have tried this post. It does the same thing. I’ve tried PM Swiss and haven’t received a reply.

Here is a program sample when not using Tool Optimization OR it posts like this if I manually insert a Tool Change in Fusion even though its the same tool.
(2D Contour11)
N15000 M9
N15005 M1
N15010 T1 M6
N15015 T3
N15020 S2690 M3
N15025 G57
N15030 M11
N15035 G0 A0.
N15040 M10
N15045 M8

Here is what I get if the WCS changes but there is no tool change.

(2D Contour11)
N10360 G57
N10370 G0 G43 X-0.1922 Y-0.1045 Z1.325 H1
N10375 Z0.925

As you can see, it just calls out the WCS change but with no M10, G0 A0, M11 commands so the rotary does not turn to the new designated WCS position.

I can't see to attach a Fusion file to this email. How can I share the file? It keeps telling me the .f3z is an invalid file extension.

Best regards,
Dennis
