servo jumping

I had to replace my Y axis servo. A friend gave me 2 DC servos from a Milltronics. When I put either one on the machine the motor will spin fast for just a brief second when that axis tries to home. It shows a 410 Y axis position error and SV stall error. I switched with the X axis and they do the same over there. The motors seem to check good and run on the bench if I put voltage to them. I don't know of any reason why they wouldn't work.

Thanks for the response. I haven't had time to get out there today hopefully I can get it going tomorrow.

Thanks, got it going polarity needed changed.
