Path for USB

Post by MRojas »

Hello everyone.

I'm working in a manufacturing company, and they have an old CNC machine, (CNC7 v7.13) I was looking for the path for USB, I deleted all files in the USB, now the machine can not read the files in the USB, the PC shows me that the USB doesn't have the path, but I can't find the path, can someone help me?

CNC7 v7.13 runs under MS-DOS.

MS-DOS has no built-in support for USB drives.

It is possible to install a floppy drive emulator that uses USB memory sticks, with certain restrictions, so that they look to the computer like a floppy disk. Often those emulators come with, and require use of, a software utility that formats the USB drive so that the emulator can work with it.

Thank you so much, now the machine can read the USB with the floppy drive simulator.
