System Test
Does anyone have a list of operations for the System Test? I know it first sends X to HOME, then completes the travel in the opposite direction. What is it looking for next, because it travels to the X+ limit switch, then it faulted and stopped the test. Must this limit switch be beyond the software limit? Ideally, the operation would be described after the semi-colon, so you could see right there what is causing the Machine Fault.
Re: System Test
If it really triggered a Fault (something that causes OUT1 to turn off, and the E-stop contactor to open) then there should be a message in the message box explaining the nature of the fault.
For that matter, anything that causes the System Test (or any other cycle, for that matter) to cease to run should display some type of message in the message box.
Are you trying to say that the System Test stops running, and the only message in the message box is "327 Fault: job cancelled"?
The System Test does not (and cannot) deliberately trigger a Fault condition in response to seeing something it does not like. In general it writes the failure reason in the "systest.out" log file, then triggers a parse error such as "501 Invalid character, line 1020".
I think that, after it has tested the plus and minus home switches, it does a rapid move to the software travel limits. If you have the software travel limits set too long, then it might well run into the limit switch (presumably triggering a "407 ... limit tripped" error, assuming you have your limit switch input numbers set up properly).

Re: System Test
I am progressing. Now I am seeing 511 Missing Parameter Line 1020. The test stops after Z axis, and does not progress to the Axis 4.

Re: System Test
Is the test faulting now because of the Z-axis limit switch placement (relative to the encoder pulse)?
Re: System Test
If you want an answer to that, you will have to post a Report so we can look in the systest.out file.

Hopefully, the report attached this time.
