I just purchased a seat of Oak lathe and cnc 12 and i am having the following issues.
The DF Led is out and i have tryed to reinstall the cnc12 software several times.
I have tryed to do a unlock but have not been able to find the proper page to do it.
I hope that someone can help me with this.
Thank you

Re: cnc oak
Not sure what a DF Led is, but unlocks are reached by pressing F7/Utility then F8/Options within CNC12.
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: cnc oak
I am pretty sure the DF LED on an Oak unit will be off any time the control is in a Fault condition (e.g. emergency stop, spindle fault, lube fault, axis stall, bad encoder connection, etc.).
If you would like help determining what Fault condition is present, you will have to post a Report, and ideally some good clear pictures of your wiring: overall cabinet, plus Oak input wiring and axis and encoder connections.

re: I have tryed F7 utility and then F8 options several times with no results. the page that comes up is demo page. Does it also require no fault
condition for it to work?

Re: cnc oak
What version number of CNC12 are you running?
Your version number is displayed on the F7/Utility screen.
If you want to enter software unlock codes, and you have CNC12 v4.14 or earlier, then you use the F1/"Unlock Option" key on the F7/Utility -> F8/Options screen.
If you want to import a software license file, and you have CNC12 v4.16 or later, then you use the F1/"Import License" key on the F7/Utility -> F8/Options screen.
You do not need to enter your software unlock codes, nor import a license file, just to enable the axes and jog them around. Lack of software unlocks is not preventing you from clearing faults, enabling the axes, getting the DF LED to turn on, or making and posting a report.
Post a report next. See http://www.cncsnw.com/report.htm
Then we can give you some useful advice, without having to guess at what software version you have; how you have your axes configured; what PLC program you are running; what fault messages are in your log; etc..
