Hello,
So long story short, I converted an old DC Knee Mill to the Allin1DC Controller. I had the machine running and cutting a part and it stopped half way through. First it gave a 425 Communication Error, then after the Y-Axis encoder stopped working. I replaced the encoder and that issue went away. I can Home the machine and Jog it around X,Y,Z no issues. However when I try to run the same program, the machine moves up 1in like the program is written to do a tool change. After I press run the machine stops and throws a 452 Communication Error. I can hear the relay connection on the board shut off when it looses connection. The only way to establish the connection again is by restarting the controller.
1. I have the supplied Shielded Ethernet cable and believe it to be working. The first time I was cutting parts I used an unshielded ethernet cable and it worked until half way so I doubt that it is any noise
2. I had centroid send me a new power supply because I measured it to be out of range although they said it was good when they tested it for me.
3. I am drawing from the 24VDC output on the power supply only for the E-Stop Circuit and Limit Switches.

Re: 452 Communication Error!!! Allin1DC
So I figured out the issue. I read somewhere that the crimp connection on the PSU might have a bad connection. I took out the harness and soldered the wire that were crimped to make a solid connection and now it works perfectly. Now it gives me a new error for x-axis. During the program it jumps 0.5in but it didn’t move that much so I just need to replace x/z encoders and it should be good to go.
Thanks everyone for the reply.
