CNC12 Upgrade Trouble <resolved>

Post by Moose »

A few days ago the mother board failed
Hard drive is good
Got a new computer and set it up per the instructions and had a professional install the original hard drive
Installed the latest version of CNC 12 on the original hard drive from the original mill hard drive as I now have 2
Machine fires up ok and homes
Jogging works
Only have G54 WC and seems to be running in free mode/demo mode
When i started down this road I had talked to a gentleman from Centroid and he was able to Email me the Unlock codes including the instructions
Cant get it to bring up or allow Unlock
Nothing really seems to lock like/matches the instructions as far as "F" key options
Have owned this mill for several years and never did software update.

What am I missing?

If you are updating an older system with individual feature unlock codes, the latest software version you can install is 4.14. If you want to upgrade to the latest servo version, you will need to purchase an upgrade license file.

At version 4.16, Centroid changed from an ala carte pricing to a prix fixe structure with grouped options. See https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... lained.pdf and additional information about legacy downloads and upgrade pricing on this page https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... loads.html
Cheers,

Tom
