M94/4 command not working?

Post by dougputt »

Hi

Trying to get my 4th axis brake to work, I have aux key 12 set up by Ajax to control output 1 for the rotary clamp function. However when I am in MDI and command M10 or M11 I'm not getting any output on pin 1. If i use the Aux12 key it will put 5vdc out on pin 1. Tried M94/4 and M95/4 as well and no change. I'm thinking somewhere in the PLC program there is no definition? I dunno it's PFM to me.

Yes, that will require explicit support in your PLC program.

The M94/4 code just sends a request bit to the PLC. It is up to the PLC logic to decide what, if anything, to do with it.

Ajax can probably help you add M10/M11 support to your PLC program, to work in addition to the Aux12 key.

If they cannot help you, e-mail me a report and I can do it at my usual service rates. Something like this is unlikely to take more than 2 hrs, $120.
