MPU11 Ethernet LED

Post by matt01 »

Hello,
I am having an issue with my Ethernet connection from my PC to the MPU11 board. I had everything running really well, but for some reason i am now having connectivity issues. At first i was just seeing my PC displaying "connected" for a few seconds then it displayed "disconnected" this would repeat several times a minute. Even when i would see that it was connected, only "sent packets" were being accumulated no packets were being received. With this condition the MPU Led's +5, DSP_OK , and FPGA-OK were all solid lit and DSP-Debug flashed every second, but no communication with the PC.

My last power up the four MPU11 LED's were diplayed as follows: +5, DSP-OK, and DSP_DSP-DeBug were all lit and FPGA flashed really fast.

maybe i need to re-boot the system?
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,

The DSP LED flashed very fast for 15-30 seconds while the MPU11 initializes. After that it settles as you describe.

Can you ping your mpu11 and nic

From a comand prompt:

ping 10.168.41.1

and

ping 10.168.41.2

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the fast reply! I will ping the ports and see what happens. This AJAX hardware is pretty impressive, great bang for the buck!

Thanks,
Matt
