Hi I have a M400 control year 2000, it came with mastercam installed . Does anyone know if this software would be on the hard drive or part of the internal boards ? I am trying to get a copy of the version of Mastercam ( year 2000) anybody know if this is possible ? Thanks
Re: Mastercam

Re: Mastercam
Usually, it is started via a key on the F5/CAM menu.
Usually, the CNC7CAMS.TXT file includes an entry like this:
Not all of that is strictly necessary. You could probably just change to the C:\NC directory and launch CAM386.EXE.
If there is no CAM386.EXE file in your C:\NC directory, then you will need to install the software from multiple floppy disks, or whatever method you can find for copying large collections of files onto your control hard drive (e.g. remove the drive from the control and connect it to another computer as an external drive). If you are lucky, someone at Centroid Tech Support can locate the installation files for Mastercam v3.21C and send them to you.

Code: Select all
MCAM:Mastercam
cd \nc
\nc\drivers\mcload
\nc\drivers\tridvga
if exist cam386.exe cam386
if exist cam3.exe cam3
\nc\drivers\mcunload
