Mach 3 in the standard form has a charge pump output on the parallel cable. The Ajax Mach3 plugin uses a Cat 5 connection between the PC and the controller. If the computer has an issue it would be very helpful to have a "charge pump" type signal drop out and signal the contoller to disengage all motors as though the BRB has been punched. Is this function available in some form?
System is Mach3 with Ajax All In One DC on Kitamura MC-0 Vertical Milling Center.

Re: Charge Pump
Although I have not seen any schematics or code to support this, I have the sense that the Ajax board has a "keep-alive" signal that counts on periodic communications from the console computer/Centroid software. I've seen a number of situations where the Centroid control was halted (for whatever reason), and immediately the Ajax went inoperative, even from the pendant.
