encoder question on allin1dc board edited

Post by philroy5033 »

I have purchased new encoders to meet the centroid requirements .
running thru the set up for mill running cnc12 software under windows 10 following the youtube setup for cnc11
On the pid screen when I turn the encoders the abs reads correctly but the dro does not go up.
any thoughts, I must be missing something
thanks

This is with no power to the servos, I cycled the estop and the encoder and dro registered.
applied power to the servos and tried to running power feed mode with power applied to the servo motors.
the dro did not read stayed at zero the x axis did move. I got an error " position error"
thanks
