Spindle

Post by bgpv2xt »

This is related to my previous posts. Now I just noticed in the Report parameter 11 is 50769 and parameter 18 is 50771 both of these are related to touch probe and spindle inhibit. I have never touched theses two values {that I know of} and those numbers are not the default values. I wonder if I should put them back to the default values and see what happens. I am leary of changing some of these values because of unknown consequences.

Those look like the default values to me. What reference are you using that tells you otherwise?

They are listed on pages 278, 285 to 287 for parameters 11 and 18. The default for parameter 11 is 15 on page 278 and not listed on page 285. For parameter 18 the default is 0 on page 278 and 0 for page 286. So like I said before, not sure if I should change the parameters back to the defaults. I think I will because what else is there to do? At some time in the past the spindle motor was working so I am pretty sure it's a control problem. The puzzling thing is I didn't knowingly change these parameters. Anyhow that's it for now.
Thanks again for your knowledge.

The Allin1DC and Oak are MPU11-family controls. Use the suggested "MPU11" values.

All the other values in the manual are unfortunate leftovers from previous generations of hardware, and should not be in the CNC11/CNC12 manual at all.
