Please send tech support (tech@ajaxcnc.com) a current report of your system. To generate a report, from the main menu, press F7-Utilities, then F7-Report and choose where to save the report. We would just need the report.zip created.
When requesting support READ THIS POST first. https://www.viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1043

Please ALWAYS post a FRESH report. To make a report: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecvg0VJp1oQ.

(We pride ourselves on providing timely solid technical support but, without good information we may not be able to help and/or reply until such information is posted.)

ACDC Fanuc retrofit encoders

Danny,

In the 7 segment LED's on the ACDC drives for X & Y & Z axes, what numbers are displayed on them? Are they solid or flashing?

With Estop in (motors released). Rotate the motors by hand -do the abs pos values in the PID screen update as expected?

Since you say that the Z encoder updates correctly, plug the Z encoder into ACDC's for the X and Y axes and rotate the z motor by hand, do the abs pos values for the X and Y update correctly now?

Plug the X and Y encoder cables into the Z axis and rotate the X/Y motors by hand, does the Z abs pos update correctly?

hi Scott
On the ACDC drives LED is not flashing they are solid numberd as they should .

With estop in i turned the motors by hand and only the z axis only updates in the abs pos values !

I Removed the optic connection from the z drive into the x drive and both axis uptade and then i put optic connection in y and all 3 axis updete again i put optic cable in z axis drive and all 3 axis update as should .
when i powerd down the machine and restarted again only z axis updates.

This is a shot in the dark, but have you checked the "wired input" jumpers on the drives?

The jumper should be removed from the drive which receives the '4' and '5' fibers from the MPU11 (Z axis drive)

The jumper should be installed on the remaining drives, which receive drive communication cables from the drives up the chain (Y and X drives).
