Dear Centroid Help Desk
Gentlemen:
I bought an allin1dc 3 axis ultimate Mill complete kit for my Bridgeport. Centroid loaded the software. Later I bought a Centroid rotary 4th axis. M10 and M11 did not work, and altho the home light and the rotary home bit both work together to the allin1 digital input and I see the home pass by, I have not been able to get the software to find Home. Recently I finally found out that I need the rotary software version and its rotary PLC.
I have the ultimate Mill license. I downloaded the mill 4.20 and installed it per your instructions. During installation I chose the standard rotary plc. Then I got a copy of Tech bulletin 173 and CAREFULLY followed its compile the Rotary PLC program TWICE!! Both times the messages indicated success, no errors.Everything appeared to be as I thought it should. Your instructions were followed carefully. When I power cycle the system, the original software is still loading ie. Standard Mill (no rotary) and plc Allin1(11).
So what instructions am I missing? Do I need a change in my license file?? How do I proceed from here?
I am attaching a 2 report files, one before compiling and the present one. Please Help !

PS....
also,When I have more questions to ask, I will need to provide my documentation. My documentation is Hundreds of MB. I tried putting in a link for which an example follows which is linking my attached report files. The attach files box would not accept a link. Can I paste the link as here below, or how do I get it to you? My wife is publishing a book of complete documentation. It is written in Pages on a Mac. Does anyone have access to a Mac? If not, here is the link to view on a PC: https://recoverit.wondershare.com/mac-t ... ws-10.html. Is this workable for you? I am a Whiz on a Mac and a klutz on a pc.
I promised Scott a copy of the book, AFTER it all works!!
Warm Regards, Mike

There has literally never been an issue with PLC compiling that I'm aware of.

I've been in contact with your dealer, Dave Searcy. He will arrange a Teamviewer session with you.

FWIW There is only one .src file present in both reports. Centroid-Standard-Mill-ALLIN1DC-r7.src

You must have been compiling the same .src file everytime. Hence, no changes

Thanks, Scott
I did see and choose the the rotary during installation.... I will see what subdirectory the files are in, since the 4.20 installation should have put them in the correct directory. I did not move any files to another directory.
I have my helper here until Noon, we are checking hardware. when he leaves, I can work on it. I have a doctor appointment an hour later at 1:00, so I will let you know when I return, probably after 2;30. I HAVE SOME OTHER PLC CHANGES NEEDED, so I best make a list first.
Thanks, Mike

I would suggest getting the default install working before you begin trying to customize it.

The reports you posted appear to be from January 7th and 9th, and show the system running CNC12 v4.18.

Is the clock set correctly on your control PC?

When you ran the v4.20 installer, and it asked you where you wanted to install the software, did you answer "c:\" (which is the default)? Or did you enter a different location?

I just got back. Its 4:30 If you are going home at 5, it will have to wait until tomorrow. I will try to get ready and call you. I would have taken the defaults, but the rotary, src is in the cncm directory, and I ran the compiler exactly per TB173, which says cd\cncm. The computers clock is correct. I have been putting the report files on a thumb drive to move them to the Mac. I must learn how to read the dates better..

Thanks, cncsnw
You compiled the rotary from the cncm directory, just as I did.
I saw (on Team viewer) you do the exact same thing letter for letter as I did and got exactly the same success messages from the compiler. This may sound hard to believe. I followed TB173 exactly to the letter twice without the rotary loading, When I watched you do it, it loaded! I can only say it "Heard its Masters Voice" !! I can't explain it, but I am grateful!

Yes. I asked him to do this yesterday after our Teamviewer session. I could have marked it as resolved but I prefer the OP do it.
