Among the files stored on each control computer is the "license.dat" file, which unlocks the software, at whatever level was purchased, for the particular control board (Allin1DC, Oak, etc.) that is connected.
If you connect the control computer from one control, to a different control, the license keys will not match the connected control board, and it will revert to the trial/demo or "free" software level.
In general, if you are going to move the control computer from machine 'A' to machine 'B', you need to:
1) Pull a report from machine 'B'
2) Connect computer 'A' to machine 'B' and start it up
3) Restore the report you saved from machine 'B' onto the computer 'A' that you just connected to machine 'B'.
The report will carry with it the "license.dat" file, as well as all the other machine-specific settings.

Re: Shuts down / restarts on it's own
This has been resolved.
We put the CPU of the computer through some stress testing program (separate from the machine), but still did not see any shut downs logged.
We decided to replace the computer with the same exact model. We put the original hard drive, with the centroid software, into the new computer and it has been working for a month now. so apparently there was something wrong with the computer.
Thanks for the help,
RAY
