Probe unable to detect surface

Post by viscoelastic »

Initial Probe Setup.

When I go to probe bore. It travels, hits the surface, backs up (X3 Times). Then throws error "Probe unable to detect surface." If it did not detect the surface, what stopped it :D

Thanks in Advance.

What type of Touch Probe do you have? Do you really have a DSP Touch Probe because it looks like you have it configured as such.

This is from your log file:

Code: Select all

(4) 01-01-2022 21:13:16 915 DSP window retry S0 F5 R0
(4) 01-01-2022 21:13:17 915 DSP window retry S0 F6 R0

You are welcome.

If you want to make WCS probing easier, verify what overall, real world probing accuracy you can expect from your probe and machine and increase overall probing accuracy with Precision Probing, have a look at the ProbeApp which has been adapted to works with the Servo version of CNC12 also.
