Anyone have a idea what would cause this intermittent fault happening always on decel at nearing zero rpm any help would be appreciated!

Spindle faults are generated by your VFD. What code does your VFD have on it when this happens? Quick guess is a bus overvolt condition. Do you have a braking resistor?

Its not a vfd fault fortunately the vfd has its own encoder the oak has a separate encoder with a small timing belt when the belt was looseit did it more frequently i tighten it and it still does it occasionally

Assuming that the message began with 455 and included the word "spindle" in it somewhere, it was probably "455 Spindle axis(#_) encoder quadrature error". That is most commonly an electronic noise issue. On rare occasions it is caused by a failing encoder.

If you have DC injection braking enabled in your spindle drive, try turning it off.

If your spindle encoder cable is not shielded for its full length without interruption; or the shield is not grounded to the DE9 plug shell at the Oak, then you should fix those issues.

If possible, separate your spindle encoder cable farther away from your spindle motor power wiring.

If your budget allows, replace your spindle motor power wiring with shielded VFD cable, and make sure you solidly ground its shield either at cabinet entry or at the VFD ground lug.

If all else fails, and you are willing to live with occasional dropped encoder counts on your spindle encoder, then set Parameter 334 to either 32 (if your spindle encoder is axis #6) or 16 (if your spindle encoder is axis #5).

Another strange issue I've been having when does a tool change it'll wait for the carousel to come in as if something's hanging it up if you literally just touch the tool holder with your fingers it'll do the tool change very weird issue my vfd is a delta vfd ve series with encoder feed back all the parameters are set according to TB229

Can you post a FRESH report? F7 Utility, F7 Create Report
That will have your error logs in it.
As for the carousel issue, I bet your Zero speed input is going out. Use the Alt-i diagnostic screen to watch it.
Upper row of LED's are the inputs. Move the box with your arrow keys up to that row and find the Zero Speed input. Legend is in the middle of the screen under the last row of LED's

Which Delta VFD do you have? VFD-VE? What machine?
