Updating 2.66CT to 2.70 CNC10

Got an old Centriod model M400S trying to get it onto 2.70 tried installing the 2.70 allin1 installer from iso. Kept getting kernel panics hoping somebody can link me to the 2.70 allin1 update cause I believe that would help significantly.
