Fanuc Spindle Drive A06B-6064

Post by pwsystems »

HI all I have finished my Allin1DC conversion of my mill What difference
Now time to look at the Lathe witch at the moment is no better than scrap metal
It is Fanuc controlled I plan to use an Oak board
The spindle control side of this machine worked perfectly well be shame not to keep it
But being a A06B-6064 drive Centroid don't have any information to support it
The fiber optic side is not used and it has no spindle orientation
Do any of have any information on getting this drive working with Oak

Regards

Does it have a 50-pin Honda connector for CN1?

If the fiber interface is the only external control interface, then you will not be able to use it with Oak.

Hi
CN1 is a rectangular 20 pin ( 2 rows of 7 and 1 row of 6 )
and the fiber interface is not used there is nothing plugged into it
looking at some of the wiring I think this drive may not be originale
