How to wire a Delta brand VFD-B to the allin1dc?

Hi
Pick up a basket case millport lathe that had an older centroid controler on it. I am up grading to the ALLIN1DC.

The lathe came with a Delta brand VFD-b. And I would like to reuse it.
I am having trouble with the Delta vfd-b manual not calling things the same as the centroid schematic. Has anyone used an older Delta vfd-b in there project? This is my first install and I am kind of shaky if things are not all spelled out for me. I got a friend helping that is a master electrician but it is his first install also. I think we need help.

What do you need to help me? Pictures? Pictures of the vfd terminals? Schematics?

Jim

This schematic should give you an idea. It is pretty straightforward, almost identical to the Automation Direct GS3.

Contrary to this schematic, you should use the normally-closed contact of the fault relay (RB instead of RA).

See also page 2-14 (p28 of the PDF) in the manual.

If you want a spindle load meter, connect AFM and ACM to the analog input on the Allin1DC, and change Pr.03-05 to 1.

If you want a zero-speed indication, wire MO1 to INP12; wire MCM to 0VDC; and change Pr.03-01 to 24.

Thanks

I printed out the schematic and took a look at the Delta manual.

Not sure about the spindle load meter. I have not seen the screen of the monitor turned on yet. Would be nice to have.

I will post how I make out.

Thanks
