Cnc12 install

Post by travismost »

I thought I followed the installation manual for the bench test and after installing the software I get this. I tried calling centroid and haven't gotten a call back. Anybody run into this before? Couldn't find nothing on it in the manual. Thanks

.

There are errors showing in your message box.

Please generate a system report using the utility screen (F7) > Generate Report and post it here. You can save the report to a thumb drive and upload it here. You can to attach the report file when you post here.

The second pic is where you save the report. Save it to the directory shown on top (cncm) or a thumb drive. An empty thumb drive is better because them you will know it is the current report without trying to figure out which file we need. Attach that file to your post.

Also note, the message about "setup not complete. machine is not ready to run" will not go away until the system test is run and completes successfully.

Thats good to know, Thanks! Now the only code that is there, that the manual says shouldn't be, is 304 MDI... ?

"304 MDI..." is just a status message that means -- at least when the message appeared -- that the F3/MDI prompt was opened.

It is not an error or a fault.

Are my All in One DC videos on YouTube helping? Are you following the All in One DC Installation manual EXACTLY?
How about some details about your build?

Hi Marty, thanks for the reply, yes I got it figured out I think. I made it through the bench test successfully. I am retrofitting my Republic Lagun 310 three axis vertical mill. It had a dynapath delta 20 controller with baldor dc servo motors. I appreciate the help,, I'm sure I'll have more questions 😉
