Prototrak DPM
Looking for help on Allin1DC install . The z axis #3 motor will not turn , the x an y axis work find , encoders on all 3 work . I get a sv stall error when I try to jog the z axis #3 . The fuse on z axis #3 is good , when I switch z axis motor leads from #3 on AllinDC to #2 on the the board , the axis can be joged the head of machine will move . I purchased a used AllinDC system w / 2 centroid servo motors from a machine dealer , z axis motor is new from centroid , Thanks Louis

The Software Ready Fault indicates a problem with the PLC communicating with the CNC11 software. This is probably causing the Stall Error.
Why your other axis's work and the Z doesn't, I don't know. You indicated that this Z motor and encoder combo work fine when swapped to another axis. This would eliminate the motor/encoder for that Z axis as a source of the problem.
Your Z motor/encoder doesn't show any differential encoder errors when you swapped the axis?
I will let others who have more knowledge advise you. In the mean time, maybe try a new ethernet cable to try to clear up the Software Ready Fault.

Re: Prototrak DPM
Set Parameter 302 to a value of 3.
If you are going to exit CNC11 (F10 -> F9) or you are going to shut down the computer (F10 -> F2), make a habit of pressing Emergency Stop before you do so. When you start back up, wait until the CNC11 screen is up before you release Emergency Stop. This will eliminate any extraneous "9039 Software ready fault" messages, so you will know whether there really are communication issues.
Use the PID Configuration -> Encoder menu to view encoder connection status, and see whether any given axis encoder is showing a differential error. You can clear previously-detected errors by pressing and releasing Emergency Stop.

Set Parameter 302 to a value of 3 , Z axis can jog motor , 302 was set to zero , this error goes back to 2018 on my msg _log.text file , Thanks for your help
Re: Prototrak DPM
This control was evidently set up previously, to run just two axes.
You will also need to edit your "cncm.hom" file, to include "M92/Z" and "M26/Z" instead of "M26/@".

Re: Prototrak DPM
Follow the All in One DC Installation Manual https://www.centroidcnc.com/downloads/c ... manual.pdf
I also have a video series on All in One DC, search Martyscncgarage on YouTube, might be helpful.
Marc Leonard (cncsnw, website: www. cncsnw.com) is as sharp as they come with years of experience and helped write the PLC
So if you get stuck with something not covered in the installation guide or questions about something in the guide, continue to post here. Always post a fresh report, not pieces of it. The machine parameters and logs are in the report.
Continued luck on the project.
Marty
