Dont worry about slightly over sizing your motors. The acceleration and speed is determined by the oak. A good drive will allow setting maximum current and in effect maximum torque so all will be ok. Better than undersized and keep hitting the limits and have to run the machine slow!
Hello again, thanks for the help, the drive is (Delta c2000 plus) I have not finished studying it completely because of the language of the manual which is in English, but it seems very good and does many things. Thanks again.

Hello again, Yes Marty, I have seen this bulletin for the configuration of the pins of the c2000 and it is a great help, but my configuration has to be different, I will not use the orientation pin and neither the orientation confirmation pin, my configuration is a bit more complex, I will use the homing pins, and 15 positions, when I activate homing the motor goes to 0 position and at that moment it is already positioned, then I have to activate four inputs to get the tool position I want or something like that etc ... It would be nice if someone who programs plc saw this system. Thanks for the help

Good morning, sorry for answering late, I had to pause the conversion for a season, due to other problems that have arisen, nothing to do with the machine, but I think I will be able to continue shortly, thank you for your attention anyway

Good morning, these days I have started again with this project that I had to park for a while, I have started to study to be able to make the tool changer work, I think I have solved almost all the logic but I need someone who can program that logic for me .Another question that has arisen, is there a way to ignore a limit switch so that the spindle can work when it is activated. In my machine, the one in charge of moving the tool drum is the spindle, this spindle is positioned in its place with the z axis limit switch.

On the Machine Configuration -> Motor Parameters page, enter the switch input number as the Z+ Home; but leave the Z+ Limit number as zero.

That will tell the control that the switch is a homing switch, but is not an overtravel limit.

Thanks for the quick response, but I missed a detail in the previous explanation and I think I can't do what it tells me. The problem is that my z axis uses two switches, one at the bottom that is the work reference, and the second at the top that is the limit, the second is the one that blocks the spindle and does not work. If there is some way that the spindle can work with that switch activated, bypassing it somehow. Nor can I ignore the bottom switch and work with the top one as a reference , because in this case when the spindle wanted to search for the reference it could break things by not being oriented , because to go from the bottom switch to the top one you have to orient the spindle , to drop the tool in that space.

Oscar, you should post a video of that machine operating and doing a tool change and then you do a video showing your switch locations and what each does.

Hello again, I am going to leave a link to a video of a machine operating correctly, and a link to a manual that can be seen on page 30 on the operation of the tool changer. There are two switches, one for the work reference of the z axis, and another to know when the spindle is engaged with the drum in order to rotate it. The problem I have now is that when the upper switch is activated, the spindle is engaged but not I can rotate the spindle because I have the switch configured as the z-axis limit and the software blocks the spindle. I have to try that the spindle can operate in that exact position. These are the links if they can help you, and thank you very much for the help.
