I have been running my mill for over a year now with mpu11 and centroid software. Now I am ready for phase 2,
changing dc drives to ac drives using Yaskawa Sigma 5 and Optic Direct. My question is, is there any TB's or any information
on this setup yet. Also what sigma 5 sgdv servo drives work with Optic Direct, and how are they connected.

The latest Optic Direct manual is attached to this post. It details connection,parameter settings, and requirements. Also take a look at TB252 (Rev1) - CNC11 Yaskawa Sigma5 Drive Setup and TB267 (Rev2) - CNC11 Yaskawa Sigma5 Precision Mode Setup for tuning setup.

Is there a procedure for tuning dual Y-Axis router systems? I would assume you would need to tune Y1 and Y2 at the same time??? CNC12 and Sigma5 drives.

yeah .this is a tough one...one option is you can hardware pair the drives..then tune them.. then go back to software pairing
