There are a few issues with your PC setup. The Cencomm program will probably not run on a newer Windows OS. If you boot into DOS off the Cencomm floppy, it will not have the USB drivers to make your USB to serial port work. Your best bet is to try RealTerm or similar terminal from Windows. There are baud rate switches on CNC4, but they are normally set for 9600 bps. 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit are the other settings.
