Lost all control on X axis no movements and in the motor parameters there's a (S) next to the Axis 1? Anyone ever seen this or know what the problem is ?

Check Machine Parameter 35. Did you tell the control that your spindle is axis 1?

Set P35 = 0 if you won't have a spindle encoder or load meter; or set P35 = 6 if you do want to set up a spindle encoder or a load meter.

Also, for various Mill features to work properly, you need to make axis #1 be X, and axis #2 be Y.

Thanks For the reply CNCSNW, Yes we had it set up for XYZ then moved it for troubleshooting. I'll check it out in a little bit and see what the parameters are set at. We did just install the VDF with a load meter but it didn't show up anywhere. We are also having problems with the probe only working on 2 axis currently.
