Teco Fluxmaster 100.

I got the spindle working, You pointed me in the right direction. Apparently, the VFD had been replaced and someone halfway installed the one that is in it and never really got it working right. Now, when I issue M3 or M4 it works as it should.

so I tried running a program and it starts running, Spindle turns on, Tool moves toward the part, then it all the sudden runs in the -x direction hard and I get a "410 X axis(2) Position Error."

I am really starting to question my sanity at this point.. Every time I have encountered an issue and fixed it I am faced with another one. This is really starting to get old.

The Spindle is perfect now, works exactly as it should. Any Ideas on the 410 error?

Program I ran is attached. (1001.nc)

Probably the spindle encoder direction is entered backwards. That might have been done previously, to compensate for having set up the spindle rotation backwards.

Try changing Machine Parameter 34 from -8000 to +8000.
