Installation Drawings Blast

Post by arturo523 »

Ajax Gentlemen:

My name is Reynaldo Arturo Astacio, Electronics Technician, and the company I work for bought a machine that has the system 3 Axis Servo Drive w / PLC (Dc 310),

I am writing to see if I could send the installation plans or any support to diagnose any problems.

I appreciate any information that might help to repair the machine mentioned

Sincerely,

Arturo Astacio

Do you know the serial number or system ID? The system ID can be found on the main screen on the lower right hand side. Can you describe what type of issues you are having? If you can generate a report and send it to tech@ajaxcnc.com that will help us further diagnose your issue. You can generate a report (starting from the main menu) Press F7-Utilities, F7-Report, then choose where to save it. We just need the report.zip that is created.

Ajax should be able to look up the control ID from the serial number on the DC3IO unit: sn692.

There are several worrisome things in your pictures. The Emergency Stop input appears to be jumpered; it appears that the X axis output FETs are burnt or have been replaced; the motor power cables are not shielded; and the unit appears to have been water damaged. That is not to say it can't be made to run, but you may be up against several problems at once.

I have attached the Operators Manual for the DC3IO. Unfortunately we can't find that serial number in our database. If you can look at the card in your computer (CPU10) it will contain a serial number that I can look up. I can then find a specific wiring diagram as well. I can issue you a RMA for the board if you wish, if the board can be repaired the cost would be $520.
