Eurotherm VFD

Post by Ozyrob »

Hi All,

I'm in the process of trying to sort the wiring for my Eurotherm 584 s VFD. Has anybody wire one of these to the Allin1DC? It would be great together any advice, the wiring is a bit confusing compared to the print. Any parameter settings would be helpful as well.

Thanks

Rob

I have not personally used it. I usually follow the manual, look for sample wiring diagrams, read parameter settings and give it a go
You will need to know which terminals are:
Analog Input
Analog Com
Digital input Com
Digital Input for Forward
Digital Input for Reverse
Digital Input for DRIVE RESET

Dry contact output programmed for VFD Fault
One contact will go to All in One COM
the other to Spindle Fault input on All in one

You can always call the manufacturer and tell them you need the above inputs and outputs and ask them to suggest what needs to be done and what parameters need to be changed.

Thanks Marty
I've send them an email.
Thanks for all your work on YouTube, if it wasn't for you I would have never taken on something like this.

Has nobody used Eurotherm. I'm still waiting for a reply from Erotherm, I don't like my chances.
