HI Everyone,
I started to plan the electrical cabinet and pretty much I have figured it on how to plan it but while labelling and deciding on power source for the Auto tool changer 2 x Dc Motors.( going to use 2 x DPDT relay for CW and CCW, one for each dc motor)
I was in process planning to build a 90 VDC power supply for the Dc motors as that what the label on motors recommended.
while studying the Haas service manual I have noticed in few places where they mention about 160VDC for ATC dc motors?
That got me confused one which route to take? 160vdc is easier I can get supply from main servo power source.
Any advise on this will be appreciated.
I have attached images of Dc Motors label and 2 images from the manual.
Once I start I will soon upload images of my progress.

Well, looks like a discrepancy to me.
Motors are clearly labeled 90VDC
SO, that's what you need to run them at. They are small enough, I am wondering if you can use some DC motor controllers from KB Electronics.
Has to have a reverse input.
Have a look at the KBCC -R series or the KBPB -R series
