Finer points of Intercon / dfx import

Post by kenmwallace »

I am just getting started with Intercon and using the dxf import. While I am really enjoying using it, a few questions have come up that I don''t see in the documentation.
If importing a pattern of holes that have common properties from a dfx file, Intercon gives you one screen to define the drilling settings for all the holes in the group.
If the user then wants to change some aspect of the drilling settings, it has to be modified individually for each hole. This is tedious if there are a large number of holes in the group.
Is there some way to make the modification apply to all the members of the group? Does Intercon even recognize that the features were a group in their initial creation?
I noticed that the Z axis feed rate has an M after it. I assume this means modal and that if I were to change it, the change would apply to all the holes with that tool. It would be nice of some of the other parameters could be modal. Any suggestions on how to do that?
This is CNC10 with Intercon 2.73
