All the functions in 3x4 auxiliary controls are the builtin one-shot functions. The light button in the coolant row on each is custom PLC code, and the Z-home on my mill one re-homes the z axis and re-enables the scale feedback via custom PLC code and a PLC macro file.
Cheers,

Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Thanks for the explanation Tom. I intend to do a similar thing and write Plc code to control some of my functions. For example I want to hold the set x 0 button for a few seconds before it does anything, then have it light up when x is 0. That way it cant be accidentally pressed and will light to show that it has indeed been zeroed.
