Homing rotary A-axis

Post by luka »

Hello,
I have a Mach3 based system with GPIO4D board and I'm searching for information how to home a rotary axis. I have read through the forum and documentation and didn't found any useful information regarding that.
My home switch is wired on input 7 on GPIO4D board and I have written brain that passes signal from input 7 to M4home led in Mach3. All info for M92 only talks about X, Y and Z axis and nothing about 4th axis.
Can someone share some info what I need to do to home the rotary axis and how do I even start the procedure for this axis (with M92 or something else...).

Best regards,
Luka

Problem solved!
I figured it out! I can home 4th axis with command M92 P4.
If you home only one axis at time you can only use parameter P (P1 for X, P2 for Y, P3 for Z and P4 for A) and if you want to home two or three axis simultaneously then you need to use also parameters Q and R! I didn't know that!!! ;)
Now every thing works on my milling machine!
