That legend is a location chart. No idea what T1, TB1, it would be real handy to know items like that are.martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 9:09 pmLower Left Corner....CNT is CONTACTORLorenCoffin wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 9:07 pm Is there a legend to tell what all the letter items mean? CNT=Contactor
T1=Transformer
PS=Power supply
Loren, if you can't identify the components on the schematic, I think you might struggle with the conversion.

And I think you're done with this conversation. You've been way less than impatient asking for picture while I was working on them, and after I'd posted them and showed you a link you still couldn't find what you were asking. You basically stated my spindle drive won't work but were corrected by someone else. You have no idea of my abilities yet because I don't have experience with this topic you come to the conclusion I'm incompetent. I've worked on auto electronics for 20 years, wired all my own machines at home, helped with multiple wiring tasks for a couple million dollar manufacturing shop, moved all my own machinery and countless other tasks in the business. I've tried to be polite and bend to your ways. No more. I don't appreciate several things about how you've helped. Please be gone.martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:16 pmTB+Terminal BlockLorenCoffin wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 11:12 pmThat legend is a location chart. Loren, centroid offers one-in-one technical support https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... pport.html as does Marc Leonard who happens to be located in the Pacific NW as well http://www.cncsnw.com/rates.htm
Good luck with your conversion!
Good luck with your conversion!

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: Newbie basics, is there a "What do I need" page for laymen?
Loren,
If I offended you I apologize. You will recall I suggested from the beginning, you post your questions and pictures of your machine here. You didn't do that out of the gate.
Lastly, I created a set of videos on installing and setting up an All in One DC on my YouTube Channel, martyscncgarage. Search Centroid All In One DC. You'll find most of the videos that way. The mill I installed it on, does not have a tool changer, but you can get an idea of the process.
Allin1DC CNC control installation Video Series.
I don't know what more we can offer. Marc Leonard of CNCSNW is in Washington as was mentioned, he is by far one of the best experienced Centroid dealers and he shares his assistance here as he has time, and we are all greatful to have him. He gave you some budgetary numbers. Tom Blough is one of the power users here. I have 5 years experience with Centroid, 15= years with CNC motion control. I come to the forums at least once a day, on my own time and spend a couple hours trying to help people. I also try to caution them against spending thousands of dollars and not being able to see the project through. Sometimes in my haste I miss things, we all do.
I truly wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do.
