Ah found it: I am wondering if a Yaskawa V1000 VFD could control it.

Amir, you did not address his AC Spindle....
What is budgetary number for such an upgrade if you did it. I assume you still have the PLC for changer....

The pictured spindle drive is a Yaskawa 616G5. There is no need to replace it, or the motor, so the budgetary number for that part is about $20 for a suitable length of VFD signal cable (e.g. West Penn #3274).

I missed that.
This fellow needs a realistic budgetary number for a project like this.
Roughly parts he muddles through
Or
About what you or Amor would provide as a budgetary estimate you provide parts and labor, turnkey.
That would be if interest that many like Loren in a similar position.

Parts: between $5K and $10K depending on a lot of variables.
Turn-key professional installation: between $12K and $20K depending on a lot of variables.

Loren, here is a schematic for an All In One DC with umbrella tool changer and VFD for you to look over....
There are items in blue dotted boxes you may or may not need

Is there a legend to tell what all the letter items mean? T1, TB1, PS, etc. etc??
