Should I be Worried? 452 error
My Atrump bed mill is about 2 years old. I have probably had 6 or so what appears to be network related events since it was new. Has been good for the last 6 months or so. I did reseat the Ethernet cable.
This is the first time I got a 452 error. It happened in the middle of a cut yesterday. Should I be worried?
I have never been too fond of the integrated monitor/PC they sold me. It is W7 embedded and at times speaks to me in Taiwanese. Running CNC11. I did pick up a NUC earlier this year to replace the existing PC/HMI and upgrade to CNC12, but right now I just don't have time to make the upgrade.
I also could use suggestions for a monitor to work with the NUC.
Suggestions?

Not until it starts happening every day. Until then, you can't do much but stab in the dark.BodeRacing wrote:This is the first time I got a 452 error. It happened in the middle of a cut yesterday. Should I be worried?

Can you post a report?BodeRacing wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:47 am My Atrump bed mill is about 2 years old. I have probably had 6 or so what appears to be network related events since it was new. Has been good for the last 6 months or so. I did reseat the Ethernet cable.

If you are running CNC11 control (With the ethernet cable, Windows machine) then upgrading should not be difficult.
In fact you could fire up the NUC, load the same version of CNC11 on it, and restore your latest report and swap it in.
Unless I am missing something....shouldn't take more than a couple hours?

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error
My concern is finding a monitor that will fit in the existing hole and then mounting it. Also concerned where I will stick the NUC. I am not all that concerned about the software as I assumed that would be pretty straightforward.martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 2:45 pm

The HMI screen is 15 inches and the width of the enclosure is 4 inches. First thing is to find a monitor that will fit.........martyscncgarage wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 12:19 am Can you provide pictures of what you are working with?

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error
At first glance it looks like a Centroid cabinet. They must have installed an All in One PC?
Marc, do you have any used monitors that would fit that cabinet?
You can contact Centroid and ask about their monitors that would bolt right in. Then you could install the NUC behind it. I think that's what they are doing now....

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error
Get the serial number off the back of the console and or cabinet and provide that to Centroid. I would use one of their stock monitors with bezel and bolt it right back in that cabinet.

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error
That is an Atrump enclosure and an Atrump-supplied industrial PC.
One incidental "tell" on these installations is the different font that appears on the DRO. See BodeRacing's first picture.
I do not know off hand whether the mounting screw pattern in the bezel is the same as on Centroid's 15" panels, with or without the PC attached. Check the attached document.

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error
The Centroid monitor bezel on my ATRUMP Maximill is a genuine Centroid whose outer dimensions are about 13-15/16"" wide and abouit 11.5" tall
Fairly close to the measured drawing Marc posted.
Since he has what appears to be a standard JOG panel, I was thinking the height of the enclosure at least is OK.
IT should be noted that for the most part, Centroid just mounts a 15" flat panel LCD display to their bezel.
