Hello All,
Im trying to find out the pin numbers on the Centroid encoder I have. I am trying to get it communicating with my Oak board. Looking to see what pin numbers are when looking into this encoder header. Any help is appreciated. All the resources I have show the flat "BLACK" 9 pin connector and I cant find how those relate to the "WHITE" JST connector that plugs into the encoder. Trying to find pin numbers inside the encoder.

Trace the wires from pin to pin.
Cheers,
Tom

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Re: Centroid Encoder Pins 2*8 Header
Usually the cut sheet that comes with the encoder provides the information you need to correctly connect it to the DB9
Color and function
With such little information, all we can assume is you are trying to make up the signal cable and terminate the DB9.
If you bought the encoder from Centroid, you would have been time and aggrivation ahead to buy the ready made cable at the length you needed as well.
Let us know what you are trying to do.
