Press F1/Config then F3/Control. Set min spindle speed to 0 and max spindle speed to 10000. ESC out back to the main screen. Press F3/MDI then enter M3 S5000 and press cycle start. You should have 5V on the spindle output.

If you do, enter S1000 and you should have 1V. S2000 = 2V, etc. If you are not getting any faults and still no output voltage then possibly the spindle DAC is bad and the board will need to be repaired.

There is no need to wait for unlocks. The demo unlock gives you a fully operational control.

Make sure you are connected to the correct pins as well:
AIO DC SPindle output.jpg
The Brown wire is COM (DC-)
The Red wire is Spindle Speed Output (DC+)

Please show us a picture of your connection and meter to All in One

DID YOU GET US A FRESH REPORT OR DID YOU GIVE US AN OLD ONE????
FRESH REPORT PLEASE

The one you posted is dated 7/2 and shows spindle faults.
Meaning you haven't done anything since 7/2
Spindle Fault.PNG

Do you have a Jog panel or not?:
Jog Panel Required.PNG
That information came from the report you just posted.

Please take the time to take pictures of your bench test setup and an OVERALL PICTURE of your benchtest setup.
GOOD up to date information provided by you will help us help you.
Remember, we can't "SEE" what you "SEE"
We can only provide advice based on what information you give us.

Thank you
Marty

Did you do as Tom Suggested?
Set your top speed to 10000
And your low speed to 0

Then go into MDI and type
M3S5000
And read your meter?

Have you done any CNC retrofits before? Are you comfortable with electricity and do you have a basic working knowledge of electricity/electronics?

I notice in each of your pictures that show the status window, the commanded spindle speed is shown as zero.

Of course, you have probably already cancelled MDI or whatever program cycle you were running, before you took the picture.

If things are set up and working right, then after you enter "M3 S5000" at the MDI prompt (and press Cycle Start), then the status window would show "5000 A" next to "Spindle:"

If the RPM in the status window is zero, then the analog output voltage should be zero.

Once again, go into the F3/MDI prompt. Verify that the MDI prompt remains open: there should be an entry box at the bottom of the screen, with a prompt that reads "Block?"; and the last message in the message box in the status window should read "304 MDI...".

Press Alt-i to show the PLC Diagnostic display.

Type "M3 S5000" at the MDI "Block?" prompt, and press Cycle Start (or Alt-S).

Take a picture showing the whole screen, so we can see the MDI prompt; the Spindle RPM in the status window; the state of OUT7 on the PLC Diagnostic display; etc..

If the MDI "Block?" prompt does not remain on the screen for you to type in, then look in the message box in the status window for any error or fault conditions that might be preventing MDI from running.
