Fusion 360 post for CNC4
I recently got a Supermax knee mill running on a CNC4 controller circa 1990. I am using Fusion 360 for my programming, and am looking for a post that would work with CNC4. Using F360's built in post for Centroid requires quite a bit of editing, since the CNC4 uses substantially fewer G and M codes. I was wondering if anyone has any leads on a post available? I don't have any experience editing posts, or else I would probably try. Thanks!

Cheers,

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

You might try searching for a Bridgeport Boss post-processor.
I think some of the eccentricities in the CNC4 codes (e.g. G70/G71 for inch/metric, and absolute IJK arc centers) are modeled on Boss controls.

Re: Fusion 360 post for CNC4
I have tried the fusion 360 bridgeport post, but it didnt work properly. The closest I have gotten is using the post for Multicam, but when I program toolpaths of arcs tangent to lines, there is a mismatch in the path, and I dont really know how to solve it
