AllInOne testing

Post by bgpv2xt »

I'm back, finally! After corona and a 14 bolt axle change I can put some time back on the Bridgeport. All axis motors are secured to the bed so the sprockets can be turned by hand. Got to step 14 on page 29. Z axis motor starts to turn, all 3 axis show movement on the screen. When the Estop is depressed the Z axis motor stops turning. But when any axis motor is turned by hand the axis that is being turned shows the most movement and the other two show movement as well. Also the feedrate is showing movement when the axis motors are turned by hand. Right now I will look over the wiring, the blueprint and the machine. And see if I can determine what is going on. I'm thinking it's related to the VFD wiring which I have had a tough time interpreting.

Tell us about your encoder cables

If you unplug two of the three encoder cables from the Allin1DC, then turn the remaining motor, do you get any counts on the disconnected inputs?
