Does the aiax system(software and board) can detect diameter of tool to controller? or it can only measure length of tool?

Thank you

sml2011,

Unfortunately no you cannot use a laser tool setter. At this time the Centroid software is not setup for detecting and inputting tool diameter information into the tool offset library. You have to manually enter you tool diameter information.

We have the TT1 tool touch off available for purchase here: http://www.ajaxcnc.com/ajax-cnc-accessories/
When requesting support, please ALWAYS post a current report. Find out how to take a report from your Acorn, CNC11 or CNC10 system here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ecvg0VJp1oQ.

If your question is PLC, Macro or program related, please also post a copy of the program or macro as well.

Without the above information we may not be able to help and/or reply until the required information is posted..
